I\u2019d bet you already do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What I <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> do is give you the benefits, and hopefully, not the ones you\u2019ve heard over and over again.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you\u2019re looking for some real, actionable insights on how you can leverage your customer review strategy to increase visibility, improve your product, and fuel your sales and marketing efforts, then you\u2019ve come to the right place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-spacer\"><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2><b>1. Whether you turn short review quotes into powerful visuals or embed entire reviews right on the page, the added bit of social proof just may be the difference between a prospect clicking on, or clicking out.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2><b>3. Help drive your product roadmap<\/b><\/h2>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No company or product is perfect. But don\u2019t worry \u2013 this will actually help you in the long run.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While I\u2019m not advising you to take <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">every<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> piece of feedback and let it alter your product road map, I would say to always be open to the suggestions. If you find that the majority of your negative reviews cite the same issue, or you see a theme developing, it\u2019s likely worth looking into.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And it doesn\u2019t have to be <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">all<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> bad. Better yet, it\u2019s an easy ask since they\u2019ve already proved they\u2019re willing to spend the time writing a review.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And these advocates \u2013 whether intentionally or not \u2013\u00a0are helping you build rapport with your existing prospects. When your team starts working with your brand\u2019s biggest fans, prospects and customers will be encouraged to continue offering feedback \u2013 a win-win.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2><b>5. Help you beat out a close competitor<\/b><\/h2>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reviews are always a pivotal part of my buying experience, but they become even more valuable when I\u2019ve narrowed down my choices to two or three different options.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether it\u2019s a minor purchase like an inexpensive dinner out, or a substantial one like a new mattress, comparing the reviews side-by-side will almost always help one company get a leg up over the other(s).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, though, I don\u2019t only look at the content of the reviews. In fact, the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">quantity<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is just as, if not a little bit more, important to me. If I\u2019m between a product with five stars, but only 20 reviews, versus a product with four stars and 500 reviews, I\u2019ll almost always go with the latter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s the lesson: You shouldn\u2019t be satisfied once you hit your ideal star rating. Customers will be looking for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a lot<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of reviews, ideally, from within the last month or so. If you want to beat out your competitors, it\u2019s critical to be gathering high-quality reviews on a regular basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2><b>6. Fuel your sales and marketing efforts<\/b><\/h2>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customer reviews may not replace your most integral marketing or <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/g2.com\/categories\/crm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sales tools<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, but they can definitely complement your existing efforts \u2013\u00a0and fuel some new initiatives, too.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For example, who <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hasn\u2019t<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ignored a cold sales email? I know I have. So instead of messaging a prospect asking for their time, why don\u2019t you send them something they\u2019re already looking for? Like your customer reviews.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In doing this, you\u2019re saving <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">them<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> time (they\u2019d seek out reviews eventually), and proving that this is more than just their typical sales pitch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can also use your customer reviews to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">personalize<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the pitch. Instead of shooting off another generic email, encourage your salespeople take some time to dig into your customer reviews. If they can find reviews from customers in a similar role, industry, or company as the prospect they\u2019re pitching, they can customize their outreach <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> level any future expectations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"div-minispacer\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the top of the funnel, customer reviews can help support social media, content, and digital marketing efforts across the board.
