                                          Accessibility

Sogolytics offers a wide variety of ways to make your next survey your best survey. Ensuring all participants can respond to your questionnaires is an important part of the research process. As you design your project, consider the following elements to improve accessibility.

                                          • Depending on your audience, enabling multiple languages can make it easier for a more diverse group of participants to respond.
                                          • Prioritize visibility and clarity when customizing your Visual Settings. You may choose to utilize the ADA-compliant theme that is already available as a template style in your account. Alternatively, customize your theme but test for accessibility.
                                          • Test your questionnaire through a screen reader, as needed. All survey projects are accessible via common third-party screen readers such as JAWS, Talkback, and Voiceover.
                                          • While all question types are accessible and in 508 compliance, the use of complex questions like Matrix Grids is not recommended when prioritizing visibility and clarity.
                                          • Test participation on multiple devices. Survey projects are device-responsive, meaning that the display will adjust based on the devices on which participants open each link. However, it can be very helpful for you to understand how easy or difficult it may be for a participant to respond on a mobile device, for example, and to adjust accordingly.
