With this setting, responses will be de-linked from participants\u2019 identifying information, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Email address<\/li>\n<li>IP address<\/li>\n<li>Date and time of participation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Data will appear in your reports, but you won\u2019t know who said what. This powerful feature offers benefits for both you and your participants, especially in sensitive situations where honest answers may be both critical and difficult to share.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Follow these steps to set your project as Anonymous or Semi-Anonymous:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Create or open a project.<\/li>\n<li>In the Design menu bar, click on the Options icon and select Anonymity.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/R30.2.64.png\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Choose to set your project as:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Anonymous:<\/strong> If you want to completely respect participants\u2019 privacy at a technical level, you may choose to set your project as Anonymous. You will not be able to see details of any participant, including whether they have completed or not. Participants will see a footer message explaining the Anonymous setting.<br \/>\n<div class=\"example-block-container blue-shade\">\n        <span class=\"example-block-content\"><span class=\"example-block-header\">For example:<\/span><br \/>\nYou want to collect feedback from employees about supervisors in the organization, but you know it can be challenging for people to give candid feedback in person. An anonymous survey prevents everyone \u2013 even you \u2013 from knowing who said what.<br \/>\n<\/span>\n  <\/div><\/li>\n<li><strong>Semi-Anonymous:<\/strong> If you want to respect participants\u2019 anonymity but you also need to know who responded, you may choose to set your project as Semi-Anonymous. You will not be able to match a participant with their response. However, once your project expires, your account manager can provide you with a list of participants.
