Question Hint allows you to add extra information that can help guide your participants during the survey. Rather than crowding your page with lots of extra text, this feature allow you to display bonus information to those who need it. By hovering over the icon that appears beside the question, participants can review the additional explanation or information they need.<\/p>\n

This feature may be added to all question types, and in multilingual surveys, Question Hints can be edited and translated in additional languages under Text & Translations in the Design menu bar.<\/p>\n

Follow the steps listed below to set up Question Hint:<\/p>\n

  1. Create a new survey or select a survey to edit.<\/li>\n
  2. Add the relevant question to the survey.<\/li>\n
  3. While editing the question, Enable Question Hint from the set of Question actions on the left.

  4. Enter your Question Hint in the textbox on the right.<\/li>\n
  5. Click Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
