The Comparison Report allows you to compare from two to ten sets of data. Results can be displayed using a table and\/or bar graph. For example, if you have run a product feedback project, you might want to compare the responses provided by male and female participants.<\/p>\n

Generate Comparison Report<\/h2>\n

These steps will allow you to generate a Comparison Report:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Select your project and click on Report.<\/li>\n
  2. On the Report menu bar, click on Legacy Reports and select Comparison.<\/li>\n
  3. Select questions you want to include on your report and click on Continue.<\/li>\n
  4. On the next step, you can reorder the questions for the best presentation of your information.<\/li>\n
  5. On the \u2018Survey Data Sets\u2019 step, define the data to be compared.\n
      \n
    1. From the dropdown menu, choose the number of data sets.<\/li>\n
    2. Create the first data set.\n
        \n
      1. Choose a descriptive name.<\/li>\n
      2. Click on Yes to apply a condition.<\/li>\n
      3. Define the condition by selecting a question from the dropdown, choosing is\/is not, and choosing an answer option.<\/li>\n
      4. Click on Add Condition.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      5. Repeat the same steps to define the remaining data sets.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      6. Click on Continue.<\/li>\n
      7. Select properties that you want to display in your report:<\/li>\n

        1. Display Count: Displays the response count in your report<\/li>\n
        2. Display Percentage: Lets you customize the number of decimals to be displayed for response percentage<\/li>\n
        3. Exclude All \u2018Did not Answer\u2018 is used to exclude the count of unanswered question from the number of total respondents for a question.\n
            \n
          1. All, to add all partially completed responses to the report<\/li>\n
          2. Responses answered up to a specific question number<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          3. Click on Generate to create the report. You can now see how each of your selected groups has responded to each question. Data sets appear side by side for ease of comparison.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Review\/Modify Comparison Report<\/h2>\n

            To modify a generated report, clicking on \u2018Modify this Report\u2019 will redirect you to the first step of the report wizard.<\/p>\n

            Report Details<\/h2>\n

            Survey Metrics:<\/strong> Survey Metrics displays Date, Invitation, and Responses Metrics, which provide details about the responses included in the generated report. You may click on the Edit icon beside the Survey Metrics option to show or hide particular Date, Invitation, and Response Metrics.<\/p>\n

            Properties:<\/strong> All report properties and response languages present in the generated report are visible here. You can edit, remove, or add the field which you want in the report by clicking on the Edit icon. If you are generating a report for a multilingual project, you may review responses submitted for particular language by selecting it from the language dropdown menu.<\/p>\n

            Exclude All \u2018Did not Answer\u2018<\/strong> is used to exclude the count of unanswered question from the number of total respondents for a question. This feature can be applied to all report questions, from the Properties menu, or to individual questions.<\/p>\n

            Show Graphs:<\/strong> To view your comparison report in a graphical display, click \u2018Show Graph\u2019 in the Properties menu. Each item in your report will be displayed with both a table and graph, as below:<\/p>\n

            Modify Comparison Report Appearance<\/h2>\n

            Follow these steps to change the appearance of your graph(s) within the report:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            1. Under the Report choose Comparison from the menu bar.<\/li>\n
            2. Follow the wizard to generate your report.<\/li>\n
            3. To modify a basic chart, switch from Basic to Advanced in the top right corner. Then use the Chart Type dropdown menu to make your selection.<\/li>\n
            4. As desired, you may also choose your preferred colors from the Color Scheme dropdown.<\/li>\n
            5. Additionally, you can click on \u2018View chart\u2019 icon at the top right corner to access the question level chart. Here, you may further choose to save or print the individual chart.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
