Adding a filter to your report lets you drill down on a specific group of participants based on their answers to one or more questions.<\/p>\n

\n For example:<\/span>Maybe you\u2019d like to see a report that includes only participants who said they were \u201cVery Dissatisfied\u201d with an event. Or, get more specific and create a multi-condition filter that will display those \u201cVery Dissatisfied\u201d participants who also attended last year\u2019s event.<\/span>\n <\/div>\n

Generate New Filter<\/h2>\n

To create a new filter:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Click on the Filter icon on the top right corner.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Add Filter Elements.
    \n\n<\/li>\n
  3. Choose to set your filter based on a question or metadata including:\n
      \n
    • Response Period <\/li>\n
    • IP address <\/li>\n
    • Time to complete the survey <\/li>\n
    • Language in which the survey was completed <\/li>\n
    • Channel by which participant accessed the survey <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n<\/li>\n

    • Once the question\/metadata option is added to the filter panel, click on the item to choose the appropriate condition, like \u201cis one of the following\u201d. <\/li>\n
    • Then, select the appropriate answer option(s) that will define the filter, like \u201cVery Dissatisfied\u201d, and Apply.<\/li>\n
    • To add another condition, click Add\/Modify and repeat. <\/li>\n
    • Save the filter and enter a descriptive name like \u201cVery Dissatisfied\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Review Filters<\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Filters you have already created and saved will be visible in the Filter Manager.<\/li>\n
      • Once a filter is applied, make changes by clicking Update. This will overwrite the existing filter.<\/li>\n
      • Changes made can also be saved as a new filter by using Save As New. This will not overwrite the existing filter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Save and Reset<\/h2>\n
          \n
        • All changes made to this report are saved automatically.<\/li>\n
        • Generating the Omni Report again for the same project will display any previous changes.<\/li>\n
        • To clear customization and return to the default report display, click the Reset All icon on the right side of the screen. All changes will be lost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
