You can filter widget data based on these main categories: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Activity<\/strong>: Filter data based on activities within Directories. Select a desired Directory from the dropdown, and then choose Attributes and Metadata to filter records. Metadata in this category includes Source of Contacts and Contacts imported by User ID.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Respondents<\/strong>: Filter data based on contacts within Directories. Choose a Directory, and then select Fields and Metadata for record filtering. Metadata in this category includes Source of Contacts, Contacts imported by (User ID), and Link to Activity. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Feedback Recipients<\/strong>: Filter feedback recipients and show only the responses submitted by them. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Questions and Metadata<\/strong>: Filter data based on answer\/metadata values. Metadata in this category includes Response Period, IP Address, Time to complete the survey, Language in which the survey was completed, and the Channel by which participants accessed the survey. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Tags<\/strong>: This filter is available if you have at least one CX or EX Project in your Dashboard. Filter data based on Tags under CX or EX projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>&nbsp;<\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Metadata Functions in Activity and Contacts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Source of Contacts<\/strong>: Filter data based on the sources through which contacts were imported into the directory (e.g., file, SFTP). <\/li>\n<li><strong>Contacts imported by User ID<\/strong>: Filter data based on User IDs that imported contacts within the directory, useful for accounts with multiple sub-users. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Link to Activity<\/strong>: Filter data based on contacts linked to any activity in the directory. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>How to Create a Filter <\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Access filters from the <strong>Filter<\/strong> option located next to the <strong>Segmentation<\/strong> in the top-right corner of the Dashboard. Alternatively, you can use the filter option available within the <strong>Widget Options<\/strong> for each widget. <\/li>\n<div class=\"sogo-help-info-box\"><i class=\"fal fa-info-circle\"><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"sogo-info-text\"> The common filter located next to <strong>Segmentation<\/strong> applies to all widgets within the dashboard, whereas the filter accessed from an individual widget affects only that widget&#8217;s data. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<li>If you are accessing the filters for the first time, a modal displaying the available filter conditions will appear, allowing you to specify filter conditions.<\/li>\n<li>After defining the conditions, you can choose to either <strong>Apply<\/strong> the filter or <strong>Save and Apply<\/strong> it.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/FiltersinCD.gif\"><\/li>\n<li>If saved filters already exist and none are currently applied, accessing the filter option will display all saved filters upfront.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/F2.png\"\/><br \/>\nHovering over any saved filter reveals options to <strong>Preview<\/strong> and <strong>Apply<\/strong> the filter. Additionally, a three-dot menu appears on hover, offering actions such as <strong>Edit<\/strong>, <strong>Duplicate<\/strong>, <strong>Rename<\/strong>, or <strong>Delete<\/strong> for the saved filter. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/F4.png\"\/> <\/li>\n<li>Once a filter is applied, accessing the filter option opens a dropdown with options to <strong>Preview<\/strong>, <strong>Edit<\/strong>, or <strong>Remove<\/strong> the filter. You can also <strong>Create a new filter<\/strong> or open <strong>Saved filters<\/strong> from this menu.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/F5.png\"\/> <\/li>\n<li>Reset the applied common filter for the entire dashboard by clicking the <strong>Reset<\/strong> icon next to the common filter.
