Share<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When the right people have the right data in real time, it makes decisions easier. Provide access to Custom Dashboards by sharing a link or by sending an email, either once or on a recurring schedule.<\/p>\n

To generate a shareable Dashboard link, follow the steps below:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open the Dashboard you want to share and click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner, then select Share<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. At the top of the Share modal, click Generate<\/strong> to create a dynamic Dashboard link.<\/li>\n
  3. To customize the link settings, click on the gear icon next to the Generate button. Settings include: \n
      \n
    • Set the Link Expiry Date<\/strong>: Specify when the link will expire.<\/li>\n
    • Control Access<\/strong>: When enabled, the shared link becomes accessible, allowing anyone with access to view the Dashboard.<\/li>\n
    • Set a Password<\/strong>: The Dashboard owner can set a password that recipients must use to open the Dashboard.<\/li>\n
    • Allow Recipients to Filter<\/strong>: Enable recipients to view or edit filters at different levels, including the Dashboard level, Widget level, and Time filter level. The owner can grant View<\/strong> or Edit<\/strong> permissions.<\/li>\n
    • Allow Recipients to Drill Down to Individual Responses<\/strong>: Let recipients click on graphs to display individual responses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Once all the customizations are complete, share this Dashboard link with others.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       
      \nTo share your Dashboard by email, follow the steps below:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Open the Dashboard you want to share and click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner, then select Share<\/strong>. <\/li>\n
        2. Click the Share by email<\/strong> button. If this is the first time you’re sharing by email, you’ll see this option in the center of your screen. <\/li>\n
        3. Next, compose your email within Email Content<\/strong>, including sender and recipient details and email subject and content. <\/li>\n
        4. Before you click Next, consider using the Email Customization<\/strong> option to enhance the look and feel of the email. You can add a logo and customize the background and border of the email.<\/li>\n
        5. Within Schedule & Settings, choose when and how to send your Dashboard link by email. <\/li>\n
            \n
          • Send Now<\/strong>: This option allows you to send the email immediately.<\/li>\n
          • Schedule Later<\/strong>: Set the email to be sent later, based on your chosen date and time.<\/li>\n
          • Recurring<\/strong>: Set up the email to be sent on a recurring basis. You can schedule it for Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, or Custom intervals. For more details on setting up recurring emails, see below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • Set the Link Expiry Date. The shared dashboard email link will be valid until this date.<\/li>\n
          • Use the Link Settings<\/strong> to configure passwords and access permissions, allowing recipients to download, drill down, and filter using the link settings.\n
              \n
            • Set Password<\/strong>: The dashboard owner can set a password that recipients will need to open the Dashboard.<\/li>\n
            • Allow recipients to filter<\/strong>: This option lets recipients view or edit filters at the Dashboard level, Widget level, and Time filter level. The dashboard owner can grant view or edit permissions.<\/li>\n
            • Allow recipients to drill down to individual responses<\/strong>: This feature lets recipients drill down into specific individual responses from the graphs in the widgets on the shared Dashboard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
            • Click Next to review your email, and then click Send Dashboard.<\/li>\n
            • View details of your shared Dashboard under the Email Recipients tab on the Share Dashboard page.<\/li>\n
            • If you choose to set a recurring email, selecting Recurring<\/strong> will display options to customize your recurring rule. The rule can be configured based on the following criteria: \n

              • Daily:<\/strong> Specify the time for invitations to be sent every day.<\/li>\n
              • Weekly:<\/strong> Choose both the time and day of the week for weekly delivery. Click the plus icon to add more days.<\/li>\n
              • Monthly:<\/strong> Choose both the date and time for monthly delivery. Click the plus icon to add more dates.<\/li>\n
              • Yearly:<\/strong> Choose the month, date, and time for annual delivery. Click the plus icon to add more.<\/li>\n
              • Custom:<\/strong> Create custom rules by combining any of the above options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
              • Define the Start and End dates for your recurring rule.<\/li>\n
              • Further customize your email using the Link Expiry and Advanced Link Settings options.<\/li>\n
              • Click Next to review your email, and then click Save Recurring Rule. <\/li>\n
              • Add a name for your rule. <\/li>\n
              • Click Save and you’ll be taken to an overview of all recurring rules set up for this Dashboard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Delete<\/strong><\/h2>\n

                This option allows you to delete the Dashboard. Once you click on Delete<\/strong>, the platform will prompt you to confirm the action. If you click on Yes, Delete!<\/strong> the Dashboard will be permanently deleted. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
