The following options are available:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Project<\/strong> \u2013 Analyzes open-ended responses from a single project. Select the target project from the <strong>Select Project<\/strong> dropdown. This is the default data source.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tags<\/strong> \u2013 Analyzes open-ended responses across every project that shares one or more selected tags. Select the target tags from the <strong>Select Tags<\/strong> dropdown. Use this option to consolidate qualitative feedback from multiple projects \u2014 for example, all surveys tagged <em>Post-Discharge<\/em> or <em>Onboarding<\/em> \u2014 into a single NLP analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SS3.gif\"><\/p>\n<li>Under <strong>Select Questions<\/strong>, choose one or more open-ended questions to analyze.<\/li>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SS4.gif\"><\/p>\n<li>From the <strong>Select Category<\/strong> dropdown, choose the analysis type to display. Refer to the <a href=\"#analysis-categories\">Analysis Categories<\/a> section below for a description of each option.<\/li>\n<div class=\"sogo-help-info-box\"><i class=\"fal fa-info-circle\"><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"sogo-info-text\">The NLP Widget requires text-based (open-ended) questions. Closed-ended question types, such as Rating scales, are not supported.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SS5.png\"><\/p>\n<li>The <strong>Title<\/strong> field auto-populates based on the selected category. Modify it to apply a custom title if required.<\/li>\n<li>Configure the <strong>Data Display<\/strong> format and <strong>Advanced Settings<\/strong> as described in the sections below.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> to apply the configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nsbp;<br \/>\n<div class=\"example-block-container blue-shade\">\n        <span class=\"example-block-content\"><span class=\"example-block-header\">For example:<\/span> An HR manager collects open-ended feedback after every employee engagement pulse survey. By configuring an NLP Widget with the <strong>Sentiment Score: Overall<\/strong> category, the manager monitors aggregate employee sentiment on the dashboard in real time \u2014 identifying downward trends the moment they appear, without manually reviewing hundreds of individual comments.<br \/>\n<\/span>\n  <\/div>\n<h2 id=\"analysis-categories\">Analysis Categories<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Select Category<\/strong> dropdown determines the type of NLP analysis rendered by the widget. The following categories are available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sentiment Score: Overall<\/strong> \u2013 Renders an aggregate sentiment score derived from all selected open-ended responses, reflecting the overall positive, negative, or neutral tone across the data set.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Word Cloud<\/strong> \u2013 Generates a visual representation of the most frequently occurring terms in the responses. The following sub-categories can be selected:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Themes<\/strong> \u2013 Dominant topics extracted from the response text.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emotions<\/strong> \u2013 Emotional patterns identified across responses.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Themes, Emotions<\/strong> \u2013 A combined view displaying both themes and emotions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Response Table<\/strong> \u2013 Presents individual responses in a structured table, with each row displaying the response text alongside its assigned sentiment classification, themes, and emotion labels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SS5.png\"><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"data-display\">Data Display<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Data Display<\/strong> section controls how the NLP analysis is rendered visually. Available display types vary based on the selected category:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Graph<\/strong> \u2013 Bar chart rendering sentiment distribution or theme\/emotion frequency.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trend Graph<\/strong> \u2013 Line chart tracking sentiment or theme trends over time. Trend frequency and calculation method are configurable under <strong>Advanced Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Table<\/strong> \u2013 Structured tabular view with response-level detail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Under <strong>Metric<\/strong>, select the calculation method for the display\u2014the default is <strong>Percentage<\/strong>. Click the <strong>gear<\/strong> icon next to the metric to configure decimal places and additional display settings, such as scale range and color scale. You can also choose to display the graph in 3D. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/SS6.png\"><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"advanced-settings\">Advanced Settings<\/h2>\n<p>The following configuration options are available under <strong>Advanced Settings<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sort By<\/strong> \u2013 Define the ordering of data points (by value, alphabetical, or order of appearance).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legend Position<\/strong> \u2013 Specify the placement of the chart legend (top, bottom, left, right, or hidden).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Frequency<\/strong> \u2013 For Trend Graph displays, define the time interval for data aggregation (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calculation<\/strong> \u2013 For Trend Graph displays, select the aggregation method applied to each interval.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Include &#8216;Incomplete Responses&#8217;<\/strong> \u2013 When enabled, partial submissions are included in the NLP analysis. Disabled by default.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Show &#8216;Total Responses&#8217;<\/strong> \u2013 When enabled, the total response count is displayed on the widget.
